Behind every cute fingerprint is a strong finger. Bridget Magee has strong fingers. In fact, her fingerprints are all over this website. She is especially handy when it comes to writing poetry, picture books, microfiction, personal essays, and English Language Learning professional articles. She has just the right touch in the classroom as a TEFL certified English Language Teacher with 20+ years of experience as an Elementary Educator. And being a former Elementary Librarian with extensive Storytelling experience allows her to keep her fingers on the pulse of Children's Literature.
Bridget nimbly completed her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University where she worked her fingers to the bone before starting her writing career. When not writing or teaching, Bridget's fingers can be found holding the book she is currently reading. She lives with her husband, children, and crazy dog Smidgey - all of whom have her wrapped around their fingers (and paw).
Fingers crossed you'll find something you like on my website.
